planeride back home...

I've been visiting my brother and his family this weekend and they live about 800 km from where I live. So last Thursday me and my parents drove from my parents place up to our cabin in the middle of Sweden. It's a 9-10 hour drive, me and my father alternated driving the car, it wasn't much traffic at all which is a good thing in my opinion.

My parents are staying in our cabin over Easter but I had to go back home today because of work. So I booked tickets on a small airline called NextJet, nothing bad about the company but the air-plane that took me from Östersund/Frösöns airport to Stockholm was a smaller passenger plane with air-screws. The screws made such a noise that my head hurt after landing in Stockholm and it vibrated in a way that I haven't experienced in a plane before. I have once before been flying in an air-plane with screws and it didn't vibrate like that but that was a much larger plane though. I mean it felt that I have been on a massage-bed for an hour, my legs felt a little like shaky when they touch ground after the ride and my body was buzzing...

After arriving to Stockholm I had to wait for 5 hour until my flight to Gothenburg. It was almost clear blue sky and I could watch down looking over the landscape during the flight, I really tried to figure out where we were as a game to make the time go faster. On the ride from Östersund we flew in over the archipelago of Stockholm and since we had started our descent for landing I got a good view over some of the cruise ferrys that travels between Sweden and Finland every day. I know I saw Silja Europa and Viking Lines Gabriella and either Silja Symphony/Serenade and MS Viktoria/Romantika. The last two ships could be either sister ships but I couldn't tell the difference between them so far away but I know the outline and colour of those ships so that made it easy to recognize them...

On the descent in to Landvetter airport there is a lot of forest so it wasn't that easy to guess where we actually were but I did recognize the city of Alingsås after some thinking, I have passed through it by car a lot of times but never seen it from above before. Well I did come home in one piece without any incidents, well I almost fell on a wrinkled carpet in the waiting area on Bromma Airport, I stumble forward jumping so I didn't fall but it must have looked really funny. I just put a smile on my face and didn't cared that I almost made a fool out myself hehe... Well that's so typical me I always finds something to stumble on even if I walk on an even road, that's me, people...

Anyway I had a good time with my brother and his family and I miss them until I see them next time...
